Corn Fritters

Course: Bread, Side Dish

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups corn (fresh or frozen) drained
  • 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cornmeal mix
  • 1-1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1-1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • vegetable oil
  • 1-1/2 tablespoon melted butter

Method
 

  1. Mix all dry ingredients together, then add wet ingredients and mix thoroughly
    Heat enough oil in pan to be able to drop 3 fritters at a time
    Scoop mix into oil and fry until golden brown
